You are looking at a handmade, limited-edition art object: the Velocity-Stabilizer — also known as the Knopf. This record weight and stabilizer is ideal for DJs seeking precision and stability while mixing. The weight ensures even pressure, reduces vibrations, and helps prevent needle skipping. An integrated ring-shaped recess allows for precise speed control between two records—perfect for smooth transitions and accurate beatmatching. The textured lateral surface, combined with a silicone pad, ensures a comfortable, ergonomic grip for cueing. Designed to elevate your mixing experience, it combines precision with pleasure.

Instructions for Use:

•    For best results, use two Knopfs – one per record in the mix.

•    Before your session, place the Knopfs in the top left corner of your turntable.

•    Remove the 7-inch adapter in advance to avoid it sticking to the Knopf.

•    Place your record (5) and select a track.

•    Center the Knopf on the label.

•    Cue by gripping the textured lateral surface (3) with all five fingers and moving the record back and forth.

•    Adjust speed by touching the Ring-shaped top surface (1) with a finger (2) — either slowing down or accelerating the record with circular finger motion.

•    After mixing, remove the needle (7) first, then lift the Knopf.

•    For stability, hold the record lightly near the label while lifting.

•    Do not let the Knopf fall on hard surfaces
